2013's Iron Horse Running is an exploration of our most human qualities in both light and shadow. The album's first single "Jekyll & Hyde," which features a divinely dark chorus from Alanis Morissette, continues to display Souleye's airtight flow and cinematic lyricism. Morissette, who Souleye toured with in the US and Europe on her 2012 critically acclaimed Guardian Angel Tour, also lends her inimitable voice to album tracks "Ego," and "Whatever Nice Is." Iron Horse Running marks a pivotal change in Souleye's musical exploration by venturing lyrically in to the understanding of the human condition.
